Pedicure at Home

Pedicure helps to improve the appearance of nails and foot through the removal of dead cells and moisturizing the skin.

Articles needed are a basin of warm water, shampoo, nail cutter, pumice stone, sugar based foot scrub, foot pack, olive oil and nail polish. Firstly, mix shampoo in warm water and stir it well. Soak your foot for 10 minutes. Cut your nails and scrub your sole of the foot with pumice stone.

For preparing foot scrub, take 2 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 2 tsp of rice flour and 1 tsp of honey. Mix it well, massage your foot with this mixture, wait for 10 minutes and wash it with warm water.

For applying pack, take 4 tsp of gram flour( Kadala mavu) and 3 tsp of curd, mix it well and apply on your feet. Wash it after 10 minutes. Apply olive oil and massage it for 5 minutes. Let it be absorbed into your skin. Apply nail polish on your own choice.
