Coconut Hair Oil

Kachiya Enna/ Kachiya Vellichenna

Kachiya enna is very good for hair to grow, give shiny dark color,arrest the hair fall and dandruff. Here, I write about how to make hair oil at home.

Ingredients

1. Coconut Oil-1 litre
2. Fenugreek seeds-100 gm
3. Gooseberry-250 gm
4. Neem leaves- 100 gm
5. Hibiscus Leaves-100 gm
6. Henna Leaves- 100 gm
7. Curry leaves-100 gm

Method:

1. Take a pan, Pour oil and heat in medium flame for 15 minutes.

2. Take 3 to 7 numbered ingredients in a mixer grinder and grind it with pulse button 2-3 times.

3. Add fenugreek seeds, after 5 mins, add grinded mixture and 2-3 stems of curry leaves. Stir it now and then.

4. In every 5 mins,take the stem of curry leaves and bend it. When the stem becomes brittle (which means that it breaks into pieces, when you bend it), it shows that oil is ready. Switch off the flame. You can see that color of the oil is dark green.

5. Strain it immediately and allow it to cool. You can keep it in containers for years.
