Making hands soft

How to reduce dryness of the hands?
It is often to see people with dry hands due to continuous exposure to chemicals during household works, construction works, work in chemical factories and gardening. There are many methods to prevent and manage dryness of the hands.
Prevention of dryness of the hands
  • Wear protective gloves, when your hands come in contact with chemicals
  • Avoid alcohol based products for applying on the hands
  • Use lukewarm water for washing hands
  • Avoid exposure to sun and wear cotton hand gloves when you are out
  • Drink plenty of water daily
  • Apply oil or moisturizing cream on hands after washing
Management of dryness of the hands
  • Apply olive oil/ almond oil on the hands and massage it for 10 minutes till it gets absorbed onto the skin
  • Apply petroleum jelly on the hands and massage it for 10 minutes till it gets absorbed onto the skin
  • Expose your hands to steam often. It will help to remove dead skin from the hands 
  • Do Manicure often at home
  • Apply gel of the aloe vera plant on the hands and wash it with lukewarm water after 10 minutes
